DoggoMeal: short and long versions

DoggoMeal is an app from Kassel for anyone who cooks for their dog themselves. It works out recipes in grams, kcal and portions for your own dog – to suit weight, age, activity and allergies.

Three paragraphs

DoggoMeal is an app for iPhone and Android: you create a profile for your dog, choose a recipe, and the app calculates grams, kcal and portions to suit your dog's weight, age, activity and allergies. The app flags ingredients the dog doesn't tolerate before they end up in the bowl. There are also cooking videos, the Doggopedia with dog know-how and a community with a “Dog of the Month”.

DoggoMeal was founded and is run by Kim Marques in Kassel; her Shiba, Nami, is with her every day. The app has been on the App Store since 25 April 2026 and is also available for Android.

On doggomeal.de the calculators are also available without the app: food amount, calorie needs, puppies, 18 breeds and “Can my dog eat this?” with amounts based on the dog's weight. They are based on the recommendations of the NRC, WSAVA and FEDIAF.
