Step by step
Method
Step 1: Slice
- Wash the carrots, peel them if you like and cut them into thin slices.
Step 2: Dehydrate
- Dry at about 55–60°C until crisp (6–10 hours, depending on thickness).
Tip: For small dogs, make the chips smaller so nothing gets “gulped down”.
Step 3: Store
- Leave to cool completely and store somewhere dry.
How much of it can your dog have? That depends on their size – you'll find the recommendation with the recipe in the DoggoMeal app. As a rule of thumb, snacks should make up no more than about 10% of the daily ration.
